CHEP is a 501(c)(3) and stands for “Communities Helping Empower Patriots (our veterans), People (our community) and Professionals (those who support others).  We are a 501(c)(3).

CHEP was originally founded as an educational program for those who worked with veterans and then eventually offered transitional housing to those who served our country and need help getting back on their feet.  They are now expanding their services to include the CHEP Outpost, which is Retail for Real Change. It’s not just a thrift store but a unique way for the community to help support the CHEP programs.  All the proceeds go right back into the CHEP mission helping us to help others. 

Join WXCY from 10am to noon for CHEP Outpost‘s Grand Opening Celebration! Over a dozen vendor tables, Liam Anderson Motorsports LLC, Hogs and Heros Foundation Maryland Chapter 2, food trucks and more, all for a wonderful, local cause!
