Every fall WXCY asks our community to come together to help put dinner on the table. People’s Plaza and WXCY proudly host “Turkeython”, a food drive that collects everything a family may need for a holiday dinner.

Our wonderful listeners never fail to show up with full hearts…and full grocery bags!

Peoples Plaza Turkeython Requested Food Donations:

• Turkeys and Hams
• Applesauce/cranberry sauce
• Oatmeal, cold cereals
• Pudding mix, canned pumpkin, graham cracker pie crust
• Canned gravy
• Rice, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, stuffing, hearty soups
• Corn muffin mix
• Sweet potatoes, yams, peas, green beans
• Coffee, tea bags, hot chocolate, 100% fruit juice
• Evaporated milk
• Turkey pan
