Pets of the Week

Humane Society of Harford County WXCY loves pets! That's why we've partnered with the Humane Society of Harford County to bring you the Pet Page. Each week, we'll show you a cat and a dog from the Humane Society of Harford County who need good homes.

Pets of the week for July 21, 2014

I am a 3-year-old Rottweiler who is as sweet as pie, and I look forward to going on long walks with my favorite volunteer here. I also love playing with any toy you give me. I was here at the shelter about a year and a half ago and adopted. Unfortunately, they had to surrender me back. Iím ready for a fresh start, but you should know that I can be protective of those Iím loyal to. You see, when I fall in love, I feel itís my duty to make sure my family is safe. So Iíd appreciate a quiet home without lots of strange people coming and going.

Punkin is a gorgeous tortoiseshell kitty who just celebrated her 1st birthday! She absolutely adores the company of other cats and she gets along well with dogs too. Punkin is very shy and will need a little extra time and patience from her new people in order to adjust to her new home. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body; she's just very shy. Punkin loves to play and is spayed and up-to-date on her shots, so if you'd like to meet her, please stop by the Free Roam Room.
